OVERVIEW OF SCHOLARSHIP

International students who want to pursue undergraduate degrees in Korea may apply for the Fully Funded Undergraduate Scholarships at Global Korea, which are offered by the Korean government.

GLOBE KOREA SCHOLARSHIPS’ BENEFIT

International students can receive fully funded undergraduate scholarships at Global Korea in South Korea. The Korean government will pay for every expense.

Eligibility requirements

You must meet the following criteria to be eligible for Global Korea’s fully funded undergraduate scholarships:

Nationality:

None of the applicants, including their parents, may be Korean citizens.
Citizens of Korea and people with dual citizenship (those who hold citizenship in both Korea and another nation) are ineligible to apply.

Education Level:

Candidates for bachelor’s degree programs have completed or will soon complete high school or an associate degree program.
Candidates for the associate degree program have completed high school or are anticipated to do so.
Bachelor’s degree holders are not eligible to apply. Associate degree holders can only apply to bachelor’s programs.
A certificate of anticipated graduation is required from all applicants who are expected to graduate at the time of application. If these candidates make it through the selection process, they must submit a diploma (or a degree certificate) by February 28, 2023.

Grades:

On a scale of 100 points, the score percentile must be 80% or higher, or the student must rank in the top 20% of their class.
A CGPA of 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, or 3.23/5.0 is required.

Associate Degree: Category: Time 1 year of Korean language instruction plus 2–3 years of academic study
A bachelor’s degree requires four to six years of academic study plus one year of Korean language instruction.
