OVERVIEW OF SCHOLARSHIPS
Teesside University is pleased to announce the Beth Mead Scholarship, which will assist four future female football students in completing a degree while continuing to train for their sport.
The scholarship is valid for the school year 2022-2023.
The Teesside University International Scholarship was created in collaboration with Beth Mead, an Arsenal Women and England footballer and Teesside University BA (Hons) Sports Development graduate, to support a female footballer at the national, international, or professional level.
The scholarship award is worth £1,200 over the course of their studies, plus additional benefits.

BENEFITS OF THE SCHOLARSHIP: The selected candidates will receive a £1,200 bursary as well as other benefits from Teesside University, which include:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: To be considered eligible, applicants must meet all of the following/given criteria:
National, international, or professional female footballers who can make a significant contribution to sport at Teesside University by performing at an international level are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must have been offered or be enrolled in a course at Teesside University during the academic year 2022-2023. (All undergraduate and postgraduate courses are eligible.)
Countries that are eligible: All national and international students are eligible for the Teesside University International Scholarship.
Courses or subjects that are eligible: Teesside University offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate sports-related programs.
How to Apply: You can apply for admission through the UCAS portal or the university portal. To be considered, all interested students must complete a Scholarship application form before the deadline.
Academic transcripts from all previous schools attended, a copy of passports, letters of recommendation, and personal statements are all required.
Admission Requirements: Applicants must fulfill the entry and academic requirements of the Teesside University program in which they wish to enroll.
Language Requirement: An English language competency level of IELTS 5.0 or equivalent in another English language test is recommended. Proof in English that meets UKVI requirements may also be accepted.
